(RO) Cea de-a șasea ediție a conferinței Mastering The Music Business, primul și cel mai mare eveniment international organizat în România pe teme de industrie muzicală, continuă și în 2021. Într-un format hibrid, offline, dar și online, #MMB6 va avea loc în perioada 31 august-2 septembrie 2021, la Hotel Caro iar MMB Showcase Festival se va desfasura în Club Expirat. Timp de trei zile, Bucureștiul se va transforma în kilometrul zero al muzicii, devenind locul în care artiști din toate genurile muzicale se vor reîntâlni și vor avea ocazia să împărtășească idei cu profesioniști de succes din toate colțurile lumii.
Această ediție a Mastering the Music Business va aduce laolalta numeroși speakeri români și internaționali, din industria muzicală și din industriile adiacente, care vor prezenta idei și tehnologii noi, dar și povești de succes. Printre speakerii deja confirmați se regăsesc: Jordan Rudess (SUA), celebrul clăpar al trupelor Dream Theater si Liquid Tension Experiment, Dylan Berry (SUA), director de programe la SoundCloud Radio, dar și cunoscut producător de muzică ce a compus pentru canale de televiziune ca History și National Geographic și pentru show-uri de televiziune ca American Idol și So You Think You Can Dance, Anurag Tagat (IND), jurnalist la Rolling Stone India, Sarah-Jane Nicholson (ZA), Talent Manager în cadrul SJN Agency cunoscută pentru succesul ei de a conecta artiștii din Africa cu industria globală, Thea Lillepalu (EE), manager de producători muzicali premiați cu Grammy împreună cu NOËP – unul dintre cei mai de succes artiști din Estonia, Arielle Fisher (DE), Manager Artist and Label Partnerships la Spotify, artistul român Adrian Despot și Edy Chereji (RO), unul dintre creatorii UNTOLD și Neversea.
În 2021, Mastering The Music Business va relua și festivalul asociat MMB Showcase Festival, ce va avea loc la Club Expirat și în cadrul căruia trupe românești și internaționale vor concerta pentru a-și crea noi oportunități de business, dar și pentru a-și mări baza de fani.
Mastering the Music Business este susținută de HEMI (Hub for the Exchange of Music Innovation), proiect co-finanțat prin programul Europa Creativă.
Biletele emise pentru ediția din martie 2020 a MMB, care a fost anulată, rămân valabile pentru ediția din 2021.

(EN) The 6th edition of Mastering The Music Business conference and showcase festival, the biggest international professional event organised in Romania for the music industry, will go on in 2021. In a hybrid format, on and offline, #MMB6 will take place between August 31 and September 2, 2021, at Hotel Caro and Club Expirat. For 3 days, Bucharest will become the focal point of the European music business, the place where musicians and music business professionals from around the world will share ideas, information, good practices and discuss about the future.
This year's edition will gather many local and international speakers from the music industry and connected domains, to present new ideas and technologies, and share success stories. Among the first confirmed names are: Jordan Rudess (USA), world renowned keyboard player, member of Dream Theater and Liquid Tension Experiment, Dylan Berry (USA), program manager @SoundCloud Radio but also a renowned music producer who wrote music for TV channels such as History and National Geographic and TV shows such as American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance, Anurag Tagat (IND), journalist @Rolling Stone India, Sarah-Jane Nicholson (ZA), Talent Manager with SJN Agency well known for her success in connecting artists from Africa with the global industry, Thea Lillepalu (EE), a music producer manager (many of them Grammy award winners) and NOËP – one of the most successful artists in Estonia, Arielle Fisher (DE), Manager Artist and Label Partnerships at Spotify, the Romanian artist Adrian Despot and Edy Chereji (RO), one of the creators of UNTOLD and Neversea festivals.
În 2021, Mastering The Music Business will organise again MMB Showcase Festival, which will take place in Club Expirat with local and international bands presenting themselves to create new business opportunities but also to expand their international fan base.
Mastering the Music Business is powered by HEMI (Hub for the Exchange of Music Innovation), a cultural project co-financed by Creative Europe.
Tickets already purchased for the 2020 edition (that was cancelled) are valid for the 2021 edition.
